Gately Audio Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty and Repair Service
1. Manufacturer’s Defect Warranty:
Gately Audio will repair or replace any product with defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty is valid for one year from the date of purchase for all Gately Audio products. from the date of purchase for US-built subwoofers and enclosures. The warranty is non-transferable and requires a valid receipt. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service.
2. Repair Service:
Gately Audio can also repair most products that are out of warranty or have damage not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. If your product cannot be repaired, we may offer a discount on a new, equivalent product, at Gately Audio’s sole discretion.
3. Serviced Product:
All repairs are performed by qualified Gately Audio technicians. Woofers and amplifiers repaired under warranty will retain their remaining warranty period. Repaired woofers that were out of warranty will receive a 90-year Manufacturer’s Defect Warranty from the date of return shipping. Repaired amplifiers that were out of warranty are guaranteed to be in 100% working order and will have a 30-day Service Warranty on the repairs. Failures unrelated to the repairs are not covered by the Service Warranty.
EXCLUSIONS — The Manufacturer’s Warranty does not cover:

Burned/open voice coils or busted suspensions due to overdriving.

Blown outputs or power supplies in amplifiers due to overdriving or under-voltage.

Damage caused by accident, theft, improper installation, abuse, improper operation, fire, flood, lightning, or other acts of God and/or Satan.

Damage caused during shipping or handling.

Accessories or damage to other components caused by the product.
-
Products with defaced, altered, or removed serial numbers.

Packing materials

Adjustments or alterations are needed to ensure compatibility with conditions in foreign countries.

Items subject to fatigue through normal wear and use.

Product which has been altered or repaired by anyone other than Gately Audio, or an authorized Gately Audio Service Center.

Costs to remove or reinstall the product.

Products that are not purchased from authorized Gately dealers.

Am I able to cancel my Extend shipping protection plan?
Shipping protection is non-refundable. If you opt out of the Extend Shipping Protection, Gately Audio will not be liable for lost, stolen, or damaged packages beyond the accepted claim amount with the shipping company.

Parts returned must be determined defective by Gately Audio before a warranty credit or replacement is issued.

The final determination of product suitability for the intended use is the buyer's responsibility.

There are no other warranties expressed or implied beyond those outlined in the warranty information.
NOTE: Abuse or accidental damage is not covered and supersedes material and workmanship defects. For example, a speaker will not be replaced if the voice coil is burned and there is a surround that is loose from the frame. This decision was made to deter fraudulent warranty claims whereas a voice coil is burned and then a surround is lifted on purpose to fulfill a manufacture warranty.
RETURN INSTRUCTIONS — Speaker and Subwoofer Warranty Procedure:

Contact Gately Audio info@gatelyaudio.com. Please include a brief description and images of the damage to be reviewed. Include a copy of your purchase receipt. Make sure it clearly shows the purchase date, your name, your contact phone number and your email address.

Gately will determine if your product is covered under warranty or eligible for non-warranty repair.. Our decision will be communicated to you. If a repair occurs, you will receive a Return Authorization (called an “R.A. Number”).

Once your email has been reviewed, you will be contacted with the next steps.

Carefully package the item, then clearly print the R.A. number on the shipping label. You assume responsibility for all associated shipping costs (including shipping insurance). You also assume responsibility for any damages that occur while shipping the product to the location Gately provides.

Upon receiving your product, Gately will inspect it. We will then contact you with further details, such as warranty status (if it cannot be determined by the provided photos) and time frame, if possible.
