A: We build custom enclosures. In order to get an estimate for a custom enclosure we need the specifications for the enclosure. We cannot get an estimate for questions such as "how much for a box for 2 12s" or "how much for a box for a mustang?” In order to get a price estimate for a custom enclosure we need to know the following information. How many subs are going to be used? What size subs are going to be used? What type of subs are going to be used. What is the rms power rating of the subs. A link to some specifications of the sub would be good. We need to know the volume requirements of the recommended enclosure. We need to know the dimensions of the space that this enclosure needs to fit into. The width and height and depth of the actual enclosure you need will help. If you want a mirror(s) you need to say which panel(s) you want the mirror(s) on. How thick you want the box to be? 1/2"? 3/4" 1"? More than 1"? Sorry but any emails asking how much for a box for a specific car or for a specific sub without any details will not get an estimate returned but instead a copy of this message. We do not own nor have access to every car and cannot therefore know "what will fit your car". We also do not own a every sub and cannot tell you if a sub will fit into your vehicle. We cannot tell you what will fit into your car, To know what will fit into your own vehicle you must measure your vehicle.
A: I do not know. A “custom” item means it is not like any others. I cannot know how much a “custom” box is with no specs for the box. A custom box can be $100 or it can be $5000 dollars.
A: Shipping is not a flat rate. Shipping depends on distance and weight. Shipping 300 miles does not cost the same as shipping 3000 miles. In order to get an estimate for shipping we need a ship to zip code. Any package over 150 pounds cannot be shipped UPS, USPS, or FEDEX, they must be shipped via a freight company. UPS and FEDEX have size limits as to what can be shipped regular ground. The UPS maximum size constraints are 130 inches (length + girth, where girth is 2 x width plus 2 x height). Fedex is approx the same.

A: When shipping a box it has to be shipped inside another box with 5-6 inches of packaging around it. We cannot put a label on a box and ship it the way it is, it must be packaged. 30X20X20 when packaged is approx 40X30X20. The amount of packaging depends on the size and weight of the box. If your package is very close to the limit please send an email to clarify shipping options.

A: We do now know what will fit your vehicle, to know what will fit your vehicle measure your vehicle. And even if we have a box to fit your space does not mean the box will fit your subs.

A: A dual 12 half inch thick sealed box is 2 cubic feet. All subs do not use 1 cubic foot sealed. If you subs use 2 cubic feet sealed then that’s twice as large and will therefore be more expensive. If your subs need a ported box that’s 2.5 cubic feet per chamber then that’s much larger and will cost more.
A: Bending a flat sheet of Plexiglas without damaging it takes time and requires a lot more labor time to complete.

A: Once the panels of a box become a certain size the glass has to be thicker. 3/4” glass or 1” glass costs considerably more than 1/2" glass.

A: The ENTIRE BOX is clear, you cannot put a see through window on it because the entire box is clear.

Q: How much for a box for 2 JLs?
A: I don’t know since JL makes at least 15 different model size combinations.
Q: How does Plexiglas sound as compared to wood?
A: If the wood does not flex, and the glass does not flex, then you will not notice a sound difference. The size of the enclosure and the tuning frequency determine the sound. If the box is 3/4" thick, or 1” thick or 3” thick, if they are all 1 cubic foot using the same sub they will sound the same, wood or glass. Glass seals better than wood, it is airtight.
Q: My (insert sub name here) is so powerful that it blows apart every box I put it in, can you make a box to hold it?
A: If your sub is blowing apart boxes then your boxes are made very shoddily or are made of a very flimsy material. No sub blows apart a well built enclosure.
Q: What kind of glue do you use to glue the glass together?
A: None, the glass is not glued, it is bonded with a chemical which melts the 2 pieces together into what is essentially 1 piece.

A: I do not know, most subs will fit into the same hole, that doesn’t mean the screws will line up with the holes on another sub.

A: Yes, but any and all warranties will be void when a customer modifies a box in anyway. If you damage the box there is no warranty, if you do not damage the box there will be no warranty. If you damage the box no we cannot repair it.

A: No 12X12X12 is 1 cubic foot but with 1” thick walls the box internal dimensions are only 10X10X10. You have to take into account that the material itself takes up room
